FAQ
Will I need to cut out all my favourite foods?
At Fit 4 Life, we believe in moderation and incorporating a wide variety of foods into the diet to accompany an active lifestyle. Depending on your specific circumstance (what they are,how often you eat them, your specific goals and timeline), your nutrition coach will be advising you accordingly, but it is VERY unlikely that you will have to give up any of your favourite foods.
Are the meal plans hard to stick to, as I find it difficult to change my diet all at once?
Not at all! While you will need to put in effort to make the changes, we tailor the advice specifically to your current eating patterns and habits, taking into account your cultural background and lifestyle as well. As a result, your nutrition coach will end up giving you small changes that build upon each other week to week, making it easy for you to slowly transition into a healthier style of eating. This is also why we encourage open communication and feedback, so that we can provide the necessary support to help make your journey even easier.
Will I need to purchase any supplements when I join this program?
No, supplements are not necessary for your success. One of our major principles of nutrition coaching is that you need to base your diet around nutritious whole foods first to get the majority of your nutrients and vitamins. If there are certain supplements you are curious about and would like to explore, simply bring it up to your nutrition coach so that they can better advise you on whether it will have any complementary effects, or it’s just a waste of money.
Do I need a doctor’s referral to get started?
No you do not. If you have any ongoing health issues, you should bring along your health reports when consulting with your nutrition coach.
